PedaSoft is an electronic design automation (EDA) company designing and developing advanced EDA tools that exceed today’s industry standards to meet the demands of tomorrow’s multi-mode wireless and complex RF applications.
PedaSoft is founded on cutting-edge R&D in the area of RF design for component-level as well as complete RF system-level design. Established in 2006, PedaSoft’s renowned engineering team has applied its expertise in RF design to develop superior EDA products by building unified tools exploiting electromagnetics, circuits, and device physics across the entire system design. PedaSoft’s tools allow RF designer to simulate the entire chip, i.e. package along with active and passive components, simultaneously in a self-consistent way allowing firs-pass success for RF system design. PedaSoft will dominate its niche market through superior Intellectual Property and continuous R&D investment. PedaSofts’ products will allow its customers to keep up with the demands and complexity of today’s and tomorrow’s RF chips.
As the 3.5G and RF market continues to grow, PedaSoft’s solutions aim to meet carrier demands for efficient design of low-cost, multi-band single-chip wireless devices designed to increase consumer adoption of 3.5G services like email, video-on-demand, multimedia streaming, direct MP3/MP4 downloading, file sharing, push-to-talk, interactive gaming and more.
With a visionary leadership team, PedaSoft has successfully created a technology platform, an EDA tool roadmap that anticipates the next-generation requirements of a fast growing and diversifying EDA market. PedaSoft’s EDA solution could conservatively cut the entire chip’s design time by 40% mainly by reducing the number of design cycles the RF circuitry goes through to 1-2 cycles. The solution will also reduce the time per cycle and enable design re-use and versioning of RF modules.
Leadership Team
PedaSoft's team members are mostly Ph.D.'s and MBA’s with several years of industrial and academic experience gained while working with giants such as Intel Corp., Motorola, IBM, and Stanford University. Our mission is to provide innovative ways for EDA tool development along with design and validation of RF multi-mode modules such as WiMax, WiFi, BlueTooth, including 3.5G services like email, video-on-demand, multimedia streaming, direct MP3/MP4 downloading, file sharing, push-to-talk, interactive gaming and more.
