Software Development Engineers (2)
Job Description
Conduct various aspects of software development including software tools for graphic user interface for electrical power and signal simulation tools, data translation, post processing and animation of dynamic data using C/C++.
Write software modules to convert electrical package and board design data to PedaSoft’s file format.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- At least two years experience
- Must have knowledge of geometric coordinate systems and mathematical 3D transformatio
- Good grasp of 2D/3D geometric object operations
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and personal initiative
- Experiences with Microsoft Visual Studio or .NET IDE
- Familiar with Visix Galaxy, MFC or JAVA
- Familiar with CAD tools, knowledge of PCB, IC or package design a plus
- Knowledge of electrical simulation a plus
- Maintaining the products and investigating/ fixing bugs as needed
Software Engineers (GUI Developers) (2)
Job Description
Develop and implement new GUI features and capabilities of PedaSoft software products
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in C++ programming
- At least 3 years experience in GUI programming using MFC/WTL or equivelant
- A mastery of GUI components
- CAD or graphic editing tools development experience preferred
- Experience in CVS, or Visual SourceSafe
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Using development tools such as Visio or Purify
- Knowledge of MFC and COM is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of VHDL-AMS or other HDLs is a plus
- Minimum educational background of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Software Engineers (GUI Designers) (1)
Job Description
Design graphical user interfaces of PedaSoft software products
Requirements
- A mastery of GUI layout design
- A mastery of icon design
- At least 1 year practical GUI design experience with commercial software products
- At least 1 year experience in C++ programming
- At least 1 year experience in GUI programming
- A portfolio of past GUI designs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Education in HCI/GUI design
- Training in related fine arts is preferred
- Minimum educational background of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Electrical Engineers, Modeling (2) (1 RF, and 1 Signal Integrity)
Job Description
Develop and maintain PedaSoft’s software products, including algorithm development, implementation, code debug and maintenance
Requirements
- Solid background in circuit analysis and simulation techniques
- Strong C, C++ , and object oriented programming skills
- Experience in circuit analysis tool development and usage is preferred
- Good knowledge in computational electromagnetics
- Good knowledge in semiconductor device modeling
- Good knowledge in non-linear programming
- Excellent self-motivation and independent problem solving skills
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- B.S. or Master in Electrical Engineering or other related areas
Product Development Engineer, (RF and Analog Mixed Signal) (2)
Participate as a member of the system simulation R&D team in the research and development of research and development in the area of high-performance system simulation software for the design of RF and mixed signal IC circuits, also helping to design and spec out the next generation of system simulation tools.
Specific requirements include:
- MS or Ph.D. in engineering, physics or applied mathematics with a specialization in numerical analysis.
- Specialty with solid modeling systems, surface definitions, and faceting
- Experience in mesh generation techniques
- Previous experience with MATLAB, Simulink or similar tools is required.
- Good software engineering skills, specifically a strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented design.
- Familiarity with Windows software development environments.
- Ability to quickly assimilate code and leverage new development using existing libraries.
- Excellent self motivation and independent problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in conversation, presentations and written documents.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in one's work.
Software Engineer, Quality Assurance (2)
The successful candidate will work in the Core Technologies group and will be responsible for developing and implementing functional and accuracy testing for PedaSoft's products, enhancing the visibility of quality throughout PedaSoft.
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
- Bachelors or higher degree (MS degree is preferred). 1 or more years of experience is preferred.
- Most-recent experience: white-box and/or black-box testing
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (such as Perl) is required.
- Good knowledge of GUI guidelines is desired.
- Experience with the following tools is desirable:
- Testing tools such as WinRunner
- Code coverage tools
- Defect tracking system such as ddts/clearquest
- Runtime memory analyzers such as Purify, BoundsChecker
- Profilers such as TrueTime
- Experience with Windows as well as UNIX platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, motivation, attention to detail, and pride in one's work.
- Good communication skills are required.
